Aim of this project

What is the aim of this project?

The "Amazing world" project aims to transfer and recreate archaic history, legends and myths of the ancient past into the modern 21st century.

In other words, our goal is to build a world for the modern day person so they may embark on a journey through time and enrich themselves with culture, art, architecture and the mythological belief of the people from the archaic ancient times.

Thus, the concept of the "Amazing World" project is based on:

• Building a sanctuary to explore a stimulating environment;

• Combining nature, botany with history;

• Nurturing inspiration and ideas;

• Creating a place where Greek history and mythology meets the modern world.

The purpose of this project is:

● Education & Culture: to reconnect the modern world with the wonderful aspects of ancient history, focusing primarily on Greek mythology. Visitors will have the opportunity to walk back in time, and learn more about ancient Greek beliefs and ideals. This will also explore the history of Cyprus at this time;

● Strengthen Local Community: to provide the local community an enjoyable place to visit with their families. This will also provide nearby villages such as Dora, Fasoula, Mamonia, Maronas, Kidasi more activities for them, improving their nearby environment, and providing more job opportunities for locals.

● Tourism & Economic Growth: to become a key tourist attraction, which will directly or indirectly contribute to the overall development of Cyprus leisure industries such as hotel & hospitality, flight & cruise package deals, and local land transportation.

● Environment: to give back to the environment by increasing more green parks and develop undeveloped secluded areas. Our aim is to be part of promoting Cyprus for overall global recognition, and to be one of the most visited & famous country in Europe. This will also attract additional investment to Cyprus;

Why Cyprus?

Cyprus, or as it is also referred to, the island of Aphrodite, and the island of love, has a long rich history of several events, wars, triumphs including ancient Greek myths and legends. This beautiful island centred in the Mediterranean is a prime location to build such a world that would give back culturally and economically to the local community while being a hub for many visitors and tourists from around the world to explore a unique take on ancient history.

This project aims to achieve a number of goals, including acquiring world-recognized status, to be part of the international art community, and to be a main tourist attraction, contributing to the local economy.
